
Bijen Batajoo, the President of one of the most successful and leading teams Machhapuchre FC, and a long-standing, renowned footballer who has consistently contributed to the overall progress and goodwill of football culture in the Australian Nepalese community, was unanimously elected as President of Australian Nepalese football association (ANFA) for the next term.
The Australian Nepalese Football Association (ANFA) was founded in 2011 as the highest football governing body in the Nepalese community in Australia. It aims to promote the overall progress of its community footballing activities in Australia.
Outgoing president Raju Manandhar expressed his gratitude to the respected members of his team and stakeholders for their positive, constructive support and cooperation in the best interest of the football scene in Australia. On behalf of the outgoing committee, he congratulated the new committee, offering his best wishes for its tenure.
In his acceptance speech, Batajoo extended his thanks to the outgoing committee for their remarkable contributions to the soccer and social welfare, and expressed his commitment to materialize the ongoing agenda of ANFA with the assistance and support of all respected clubs within the Nepalese football community.
