Hariyali knockout football championship got underway at Barahkshetra, Sunsari on Saturday.

Hariyali defeated Chatara FC 5-1 in the opening match.

Amir Rokka became the man of the match.

12 teams are participating in the championship, which has a winning purse of Rs 30,000. Runners up team will get Rs 20,000.

Final match will be played on Kartik 1.
