President of All Nepal Football Association (ANFA), Karma Tsering Sherpa informed GoalNepal that sports ministry had forwarded file to labor ministry for issuing work permit to foreign players signed by Nepalese clubs.
Sports ministry had taken long time to send file to labor ministry for approval.
ANFA delegation led by president Sherpa met minister Bishwokarma on Wednesday.
Most of the A division league players have signed foreign players and they were worried about issuance of work permit on time.
Only handful players - who have applied last year - have the permit.
Sherpa said, "We are thankful to sports minister for forwarding the file to labor ministry. Now clubs are happy that they will have their foreign players ready for league".
