Syangja DFA has won the title of Ridhi Sidhi cement 24th Adarsha cup football tournament.

Syangja defeated hosts Adarsha Club 3-1 in the final match played on Wednesday. Martins, Niraj Basnet and Bishwas Shrestha scored apiece for the winners.

The champions received Rs 3 lakh while runners up team walked away with Rs 2 lakh.

Martins became the man of the match.

Bhison Gurung was adjudged the most valuable player of the tournament. He received Rs 25,000 cash.

Bel Prashad Gurung was declared the highest goal scorer with four goals. Ajit Bhandari received the best defender, Raja Babu Thapa received the best goalie award and Laxman Ruchal got the best midfielder award. All of them got rs 10,000 each.
