Nepal national team players get just 14 USD (per day) when they are on national duty. The allowance is same for more than a decade.

This is too low than what other players from South Asian countries are getting.

Bhutanese players get more than 100 USD a day whereas Pakistan has recently increased allowances to USD 100 from just 20.

There is a new leadership at ANFA.

"Change ANFA" leader Karma Tsering Sherpa has vowed to change ANFA. He has made some positive changes in the administration but there are so many things to fix.

Two mega events (Asian Games & SAFF Championship) are lined up for Nepal U23 and Nepal national team.

ANFA provides Rs 15,000 per month to national team players as monthly salary. But this is not enough for the players.

This is a right time to increase the allowance of the players from upcoming Asian Games 2018. The allowance must be at least 100 USD a day. The FA should also increase monthly salary and should grade the players to A,B & C category.

Players must play game without worry of financial constriant. The new leadership must understand the sentiment of the players and should motivate them for better display.
