Hosts Mount Everest sporting club has won the title of Sunsari district women's football championship.

Mount Everest defeated Saptakoshi youth 4-0 in the final match played on Saturday.

Rejina Shrestha became the best defender, Pujan Magar became the best goalkeeper, Pusha Chauhan became the rising player of the tournament. All of them got Rs 3,000 cash.

Jina Bista was adjudged the most valuable player of the tournament. She received Rs 5,000 cash.

Mount Everest sporting club organized the championship.
