News 1st Lalbandi Gold Cup: Nepal APF Enters Quarterfinals

Nepal APF defeated Sikkim United 4-1 on penalties on Friday to enter quarterfinals of 1st Lalbandi gold cup.

Both teams played 2-2 draw in regulation time.

Shyam Nepali (5') and Prabin Syangtan (15') scored apiece for APF. Pasang Lama (13') and Nagen Tamang (27') scored apiece for Sikkim.

Nagen Tamang from Sikkim became the man of the match. He received Rs 10,000 cash.

Jhapa XI will play against JYC in the first quarterfinal match on Saturday.

Sarlahi DFA and Lalbandi municipality are organizing the championship, which has a winning purse of Rs 7 lakh.
