MMC toiled hard to beat Sunsari XI 3-2 in the second semifinal match of Rumpum 5th Udayapur gold cup football tournament played in Gaighat on Thursday. 

Victor Amobi (23’), Bimal Rana (75’) scored apiece for MMC. Ramesh Rajbanshi scored in an own post in 10th minute.

Nishan Limbu scored in 28th while Saujan Limbu scored in 64th minute for Sunsari.

Dona Thapa became the man of the match. He received Rs 7,000 cash sponsored by Alfred medical hall.

MMC will play against Ruslan Three star club in the final on Saturday.

Udayapur DFA and Triyuga municipality are organizing the championship.
