The United Arab Emirates secured their second win after beating Nepal 1-0 while Kyrgyz Republic kept their hopes of qualifying for the AFC U-19 Championship 2018 alive with a 2-1 win over Bahrain in Group A qualifying ties at the Dolen Omurzakov Stadium in Bishkek on Saturday.
UAE had scored a resounding 5-1 win over Oman in their first match but Nepal, who had suffered defeats to Kyrgyz Republic (3-0) and Bahrain (4-0), put up a spirited performance.
Despite dominating, UAE had to wait till the 71st minute to find their winner, with Khalfan Hassan Al Hamadi (pictured above) their hero.
Next up for UAE will be hosts Kyrgyz Republic on Monday while Nepal's final match is against Oman on Wednesday.
