Nepal international and Nepal Army striker Nawayug Shrestha is playing for Birta United in 2nd Panchthar gold cup.

Nepal Army hasn’t said anything on why their players are playing from different local clubs. Four Army players are playing from New Star Club, Sunsari.

Shrestha scored a hat trick as Birta United defeated Red Horse Ilam 3-0 on Friday to enter final.

Shrestha scored the opener in 12th minute, extended lead on 43rd minute and completed his hat trick in 60th minute.

He became the man of the match.

Birta will play against New Star Club, Sunsari in the final match.

Panchthar club is organizing the championship.
