Mechinagar Municipality has entered the semi-finals by defeating Kamal Rural Municipality 3-0 in the third quarter-final of the first inter-municipal women's football tournament being held in Birtamod, Jhapa.

Barsha Oli scored two goals and Nayan Rai scored one goal for Mechinagar's victory in the match held at the Domlal Rajbanshi Stadium.

Mechi Nagar Municipality has entered the semi-finals and has secured a meeting with Kankai Municipality. Barsha Oli of Mechinagar was declared the player of the match and was able to receive Rs 5,000 in cash.

Tomorrow (Thursday), Shivasatakshi Municipality will play the last quarter-final match against Bhadrapur Municipality. The winner of the final match to be held on Falgun 5 will receive Rs 300,000 in cash and an attractive trophy. Similarly, the runner-up will receive Rs 150,000 in cash.
