Singhadevi Football Club, Dhankuta has entered the semi-finals of the ongoing Late Krishna Prasad Bhattarai Memorial Second Koshi Provincial Knockout Football Tournament.

In the quarter-final match held on Sunday, Singhadevi defeated Gaighat Football Club, Udayapur 3-2 to make it to the last four. Raju Limbu scored two goals in Singhadevi's victory, while Shishir Lekhi scored another goal. On the other hand, Aman Lama and Akash Rai scored goals for the defeated Gaighat.

Raju Limbu, who scored two goals for Singhadevi, was adjudged Man of the Match. The first semi-final match of the tournament will be held on Monday, Magh 21, between Damak Academy Football Club, Jhapa and Lohrung Football Club, Sankhuwasabha, the organizers informed.

The winner of the tournament, organized by The Young Brothers Club, Itahari, Sunsari, will receive a cash prize of Rs 250,000 along with the title, while the runner-up will receive Rs 130,000. The final match will be held on Magh 24.
