News Nepal Army Beats Jhapa XI To Enter FINAL Of Birat Gold Cup

Nepal Army defeated Jhapa XI 1-0 to enter final of Birat Gold Cup football tournament.

Bimal Pandey scored the match winner for Army men in 69th minute.

Jhapa played with four foreigners and two Nepal internationals but they couldn't grind out the victory. Nepal number one goalie Kiran Chemjong also played from them.

Army skipper Bharat Khawas became the man of the match. He received Rs 10,000 cash.

In the second semifinal match, Ruslan TSC will play against Sankata on Saturday.

Birat gold cup trust is organizing the championship, which has a winning purse of Rs 12,71,000.
