SAFF Women's Championship: Pakistan Women's Team Lands Kathmandu
Pakistan team has arrived in Nepal to play the South Asian Football Federation (SAF) Women's Championship.
The team landed Kathmandu midnight. Spokesperson of All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) Suresh Shah and Joint Secretary General Arunman Joshi welcomed the team.
The competition will be held from 1st to 14th of Kartik at Dasharath Rangshala. The third consecutive edition of SAFF Women's Championship is going to be held in Nepal.
Group A consists of India, defending champions Bangladesh and Pakistan. Group 'B' has Sri Lanka, Bhutan and Maldives along with former runners-up Nepal. The top two teams from the group will directly enter the semi-finals.
The opening match will be contested between Pakistan and India.
