On the occasion of Sahara Club Hong Kong's 12th anniversary, 2nd Bill Tamang Memorial Sahara Cup Hong Kong 6-A side football tournament has been completed.
Jordan FC won the tournament in which 16 different Hong Kong clubs participated. The runner up was Mona FC. They received shields, medals and certificates along with Hong Kong dollars 20,000 and 12,000 respectively.
Durga Gurung (NG), chief advisor of the club, handed over the ball to the referee and inaugurated the tournament. On this occasion, former national player Vijay Gurung was honored for his contribution to the game of football for a long time.
In the finale, the chief guest Tulsi Kumar Gurung, the founder and grain mast of Ballard Rise, honored him by wearing a dosalla and handing over a certificate.
NRNA Hong Kong President, Nepali Federation President and others gave prizes to the winners of the competition along with Chief Guest Gurung.
Before the start of the competition, a minute's silence was held to wish eternal peace to Bill Tamang and recently ascended Sahara Club Australia President Rajman Thakali.
