
Nepal, the host and runners-up of the previous edition, will play its first match against Bhutan in the SAFF Women's Championship, which is going to be held in Nepal from October 17 to 30.
According to the schedule published by the South Asian Football Federation (SAF), it is confirmed that Nepal, which is in Group B, will start the tournament by playing against Bhutan on October 18.
Maldives and Sri Lanka are in Group B along with Nepal and Bhutan.
Similarly, in the opening match of the tournament, on October 17, the two rivals of Group A, India and Pakistan, will face each other. Apart from India and Pakistan, Group A also includes defending champions Bangladesh.
The top two teams of each group will enter the semi-finals. According to the schedule drawn by SAF, all the matches of the tournament will be held at Dashrath Stadium.
