Itabatta football club located in Mechinagar 8 of Jhapa is going to organize the first Itabatta knockout district level football tournament.

Considering the all-round development of the local youth, the first brick kiln knockout district level football tournament is going to be held from 12th to 19th Ashoj.

There will be a competition between 8 famous clubs of the district along with a team of organizers. Manakumar Limbu, the president of the organizing club, informed that all the procedures of the competition have been completed. According to him, it is estimated to be Rs. 15 lakhs to complete the competition.

According to the organizers, the first team in the competition will be awarded a trophy of Rs 1 lakh 1 thousand 101 and the second team will be awarded Rs 51 thousand 111 in cash.

Ward President Giriraj Dhamala said that the competition, which Mechinagar 8 Ward Office is co-organizing, will help the physical and intellectual development of the youth along with the development of consciousness.
According to Mechinagar 8 ward member and sports coordinator Bishnu Bhattarai, support is expected from local industrialists, businessmen and the ward office to complete the competition.
