Aashish Chapagain Adjudged POTM In Bhutan Premier League
Nepal's rising forward Ashish Chapagain, who is playing for Pheuntsholing Heroes in Bhutan's top football league, Bhutan Premier League, has scored a hat-trick in the league.
Ashish scored a hat-trick in the match where Pheuntsholing won 7-4 against Daga United FC under the coaching leadership of Suman Shrestha, the young coach of Nepal. Ashish, who scored a hat-trick, was also chosen as the player of the match.
Apart from Ashish, Lakpa Tamang scored two goals for Pheuntsholing and one more was scored by Dinesh Gurung. After this result, Pheuntsholing is in the eighth place of the league table, having collected only 15 points from 16 games. Defeated Daga is at the bottom with 4 points.
At the top position is Paro FC with 37 points.
