The newly appointed Minister of Youth and Sports, Tejulal Chaudhary, has directed to work on sports infrastructure as a priority. Taking charge of the Youth and Sports Minister on Monday, he emphasized the issue of sports infrastructure.
Along with this, he also said that he will organize the participation of the selected athletes for the upcoming Paris Olympics 2024. He said, "I give instructions to organize the training and participation of the selected athletes in the Olympic competition to be held in Paris."
He also said that he will give instructions to organize the 10th National Sports Competition to be held on time in Mangsir. He also said that in order to manage youth self-employment, policy reforms will be made in coordination with related agencies to create an environment for Nepali youth to stay and work in their own country.
Similarly, Minister Choudhary also said that he would take initiatives for a positive message in the sports sector by resolving the dispute in the sports association. "It is important to send a message that the sports sector is united by resolving the disputes in various sports associations on time," he said, "I will instruct the National Sports Council to take the initiative."
He said that because he is aware of the lack of technical manpower in the National Sports Council, he will also take special initiative in this regard.
