Nepal's departmental team Tribhuvan Army Football Club will take on Shillong Lajong FC in their first group match of Asia's oldest and prestigious 133rd Durand Cup football tournament.

The match will be played at JLN stadium, Shillong.

The Army men will take on FC Goa on 8th August & on Hyderabad FC on 13th August.

This is the second consecutive participation of the Army as an invited team in the competition. Apart from the army, the departmental team of Bangladesh is also participating in the competition.

Under this tournament which will be held from July 27 to August 31, Army has been placed in Group F where Army will play against Shillong Lajong along with two Indian Super League clubs Goa FC and Hyderabad City.
