News Sunsari: Kerabari FC Clinches Title Of 1st Panbari Gold Cup

Kerabari Football Club, Morang has lifted the title of 1st Panbari gold cup football tournament in Dharan.

In the final, Kerabari defeated Choubise Community Development Information Center Football Club (CCDIC) 2-0.

Bhuvan Basnet scored both goals for Kerabari in the final match at Bajipa Sports Ground located in Panwari. Basnet, the decisive scorer of the final match, was also chosen as the man of the final match.

The winner, Kerabari, received a cash prize of Rs 1,11,111 along with the title, while the runner-up Choubise was forced to settle for a trophy, medal and certificate with Rs 55,555.

Similarly, in other individual categories, Ayush Yonghang from Kerabari was chosen as the best goalkeeper and Roman Limbu from Choubise was chosen as the best defender. Anish Magar of Kerabari was also the best midfielder and the top scorer award was jointly won by Bhuvan Basnet of Kerabari and Sunil Khadka of Chaubise.

Similarly, Pritam Limbu of Kerabari, the best coach, became Manish Limbu, an emerging player. The best player of the tournament was declared as Pravesh Basnet.

A total of 8 teams participated in the tournament which started on 22nd Baisakh under the main sponsorship of Panbari Football Club, Dharan and Manpower Business Association.
