Kankai Sporting Club of Jhapa has reached the semi-finals of the fourth edition of the Mills Gold Cup football tournament by defeating the home team TW Biratnagar.

Kankai Sporting Club Surunga reached the semi-finals after defeating TW 2-1 at Biratnagar Jutmill Stadium on Sunday.

With the win, Kankai will play the Armed Police Force (APF) in the first semi-final match on Wednesday to enter the final. Kankai's Sandeep Rasaili scored two goals for the win. He was declared the player of the match. TW's Ashish Rai scored the consolation goal.

Monday's final quarter-final match will be between Koshi Pradesh Police Office Rani Biratnagar and former winners Golbazar Sporting Club Golbazar.
