7th Bhojpur Mayor Gold Cup Kicks Off; TAFC Enters SFs

7th Bhojpur mayor gold cup football tournament got underway at Bhojpur stadium on Sunday.
 
Tribhuwan Army FC defeated visiting Georgian United FC, Kalimpong 4-0 in the opening match.
 
Basanta jimba (7'), Suraj Basnet (34') and Padam Tamang (75') scored apiece for the winners. Another goal was scored in an own post by Narendra Rai.
 
Basanta Jimba became the player of the match and received NRs 5000 cash.
 
Khotang Bhagwati sports club, Khotang will take on RARA FC, Dhankuta in second quarterfinal match on Monday.
 
Earlier, Bhojpur mayor Kailash Kumar Ale inaugurated the championship. Bhojpur DFA president Prabin Suwal, general secretary Tufan Kirat and other officials were present in the program.
