Sudurpaschim-11 and Star City Boys Union won their respective matches in 4th Gauriganga Gold Cup National Knockout Football Tournament.
On the first day of the tournament, the match was stopped due to bad light and was played on Wednesday.
Sudur Paschim-11 beat Ghodaghodi Club 1-0 in that match. Amar Dangol scored the only decisive goal for Sudurpaschim-11. Dangol, the decisive scorer, was chosen as the man of the match. With this win, Sudurpaschim-11 has entered the quarterfinals of the tournament.
Similarly, in another match, Boys' Union defeated BS-15 by 2 goals against Zero. Kuber Singh scored both goals for Boys Union in the match. Singh, who scored two decisive goals, was chosen as the man of the match. With this win, Boys Union has entered the semi-finals.
The winner of the tournament organized by Gauriganga-11 Sports Club, Gauriganga-8, Kailali will get 6 lakhs in cash along with the title, while the runner-up will get 3 lakhs.
The final match will be held on the 28th of Falgun.
