Jhapa XI has entered the semi-finals of the 4th ongoing Panchthar Gold Cup.

Jhapa 11 is a domestic team preparing for the sixth Jhapa Gold Cup. Jhapa 11 secured a place in the last four by defeating Redhorse FC of Elam by 1-0 in the second quarterfinal match held at Fidim Mavi ground today.

The decisive goal for Jhapa 11 was possible in the second half. Pradeep Budhathoki's header was converted into a goal. In the 24th minute of the second half, Pradeep scored from Nikesh Shrestha's free kick.

Jhapa's Pradeep Budhathoki became the Man of the Match for today's match. He got 5 thousand in cash. Fan of the match became Jharna Khawas. He got 2,500 in cash.

The final match of the tournament will be held on 19th of Falgun.

8 teams including A division club Tribhuvan Army are competing. The winner of the Gold Cup will get a trophy of Rs 5 lakh 5 thousand and the second runner up will get Rs 2 lakh 55 thousand.
