News ANFA Bids Farewell To Nepal Women's Team

Nepal's national women's football team, which will play the WAF Women's Championship in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, has been bid farewell on Friday.

Pankaj Bikram Nembang, president of ANFA, bade farewell to the team during a program organized at the headquarters of All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) in Satdobato.

On that occasion, ANFA General Secretary Kiran Rai, Spokesperson Suresh Sah, Exco Women Member Sarila Shrestha Maleku, Raju Kaji Shakya and others were also present.

Nepal, placed in Group B for the WAF Women's Championship, will play against Palestine, Syria and Iraq. Nepal will start the tournament by playing its first match against Syria on February 20.

Similarly, Group A includes host Saudi Arabia along with former winners Jordan, Lebanon and Guam.
