Dhankuta FC has entered the semi-finals of the 2nd Lahan Mayor Gold Cup held here. With the victory of Dhankuta, the semi-final has also been completed.

Dhankuta secured a place in the last four by defeating Bhaktapur's FC Reale 2-1 in the last quarterfinal match at Pashupati Adarsh Ma vi.

Manish Rai of Dhankuta was the man of the match. He got 3 thousand in cash and a trophy. Tomorrow (Saturday) the host Him Kasturi Yuva Club Lahan will play the first semi-final match against Birganj United.

The winner of the Gold Cup sponsored by Lahan Municipality will get 3 lakh cash and the runner-up will get 1 lakh 50 thousand cash. The final match will be held on February 1.
