Ward No. 3 won an exciting victory under the second Barahkshetra Mayor League Cup football tournament. Ward No. 3 defeated Ward No. 8 by 2-1 in the first match at Basant Ritu Ma vi's playground in Devghat.

Nishan Limbu and Bhupendra Limbu scored for ward number 3. Binod Limbu scored for the defeated ward number 8.

In the match, Bibek Bik of Ward No. 3 was declared Man of the Match. In the second match, Ward No. 5 and Ward No. 1 shared the points by playing a competitive 1-1 draw.

The winner of the competition, organized by Barahkshetra Nagar Sports Development Committee, Sunsari, will receive 2 lakh cash along with the title, while the runner-up will receive 1 lakh. Barahkshetra Municipality, Sunsari is the patron of the competition and the conclusion of the competition will be on the 4th of Falgun.
