
Ward No. 5 registered an impressive victory while Ward No. 6 and 7 shared the points by playing a draw in Baraha Kshetra municipality Mayor's League football tournament.
Ward No. 5 defeated Ward No. 2 by 3-0 in the first match at Basant Ritu Ma vi's playground in Devghat.
Mandeep Karki, Bipin Parajuli and Arjun Kunwar scored for ward number 5. Arjun Kunwar of Ward No. 5 was also elected Man of the Match in the match.
Similarly, in the second match, Ward No. 6 and 7 shared the points with a 1-1 draw. In the match, Arpit Shah scored for Ward No. 6 and Bhim BK scored through penalty for Ward No. 7. Ayush Bajgai, the goalkeeper of ward number 6, was declared the man of the match in the match.
The winner of the competition, organized by Barahkshetra Nagar Sports Development Committee, Sunsari, will receive 2 lakh cash along with the title, while the runner-up will receive 1 lakh. Barahkshetra Municipality, Sunsari is the patron of the competition and the conclusion of the competition will be on the 4th of Falgun.
