Damak Academy Football Club, Jhapa has entered the semi-finals of the state level Krishna Pd Bhattarai memorial knockout football tournament.

In the third quarter-final, Damak defeated Lohorung Football Club, Sankhuwasabha in a tiebreaker and entered the last four. Before that, both the teams played a goalless draw in the regular time match at the Janata Polygamy Campus.

In the tiebreaker, Damak Academy won 3-1 over Lohorung and confirmed its place in the last four. Damak's goalkeeper Ayush Limbu was declared the man of the match.

Under the competition, the fourth quarter final match on Tuesday will be played between Singhadevi Football Club, Dhankuta and the hosts The Young Brothers FC, Itahari.

The winner of the tournament organized by The Young Brothers FC, Itahari, Sunsari will get a cash prize of 2 lakhs along with the title, while the runner-up will get 1 lakh. The final match will be held on the 20th of Magh.
