JR Golden Boys from Darchula, Mahakali have recently hosted an U16 tournament from Poush 12 to Poush 18. It was a league cum knockout tournament in which 9 teams participated and Galphai City Fc won the tournament with a score of 3-2 beating D Town Boys.

The winners of the tournament were handed over with NRs 5000, Trophy, Medal and Certificate.

It was really hard to organize the tournament as one and only available ground was half washed away by the Flood of Mahakali River a few years back, the club said. 

The club has scouted 20 players from the tournament and regular training will be provided to the players with a dream to represent Darchula in Anfa C division league qualifiers.
