Senior football coach Bhim Thapa has passed away.

It is said that coach Thapa died due to a heart attack.

According to family sources, Thapa died on the way to the hospital on Wednesday.

Thapa, who has made his name in Nepali football since the 70s, also played in the top league as a professional player for famous and old clubs like New Road Team (NRT) and Mahavir Club.
