
Geeta Rana, a member of the Nepali National Women's Football Team and an experienced defender, is going to play for Sethu Football Club in India's top women's football tournament I-League.
Sethu has also informed through his official page that Geeta has been approached. Nepal's national women's football team captain and goalkeeper Anjila Tumbapo Subba is also affiliated with Sethu. Anjila played for Sethu last season too.
In the Indian Women's League (I-League), which is going to start from the first week of next December, many Nepali women players are expected to get an opportunity this time as well. Last season Sabitra Bhandari, Saru Limbu, Renuka Nagarkoti, Anita Basnet, Rekha Poudel and others also played in the I League.
Also last season's league was won by Sabitra team Gokulam Kerala.
