Uzbekistan's defender, Samandar Ochilov, has inked a contract as an overseas acquisition with Jhapa FC for the forthcoming installment of the Nepal Super League, marking the latest high-profile addition to the team's roster. Jhapa FC, via its official communication channels, confirmed the acquisition of Samandar Ochilov.

With an extensive professional history encompassing stints in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, India, and other nations, the 28-year-old Uzbek defensive stalwart arrives at Jhapa FC with a wealth of experience. Samandar Ochilov has previously showcased his skills in the I-League, where he had the opportunity to team up with Jhapa FC's marquee player, Anjan Bista. Presently plying his trade in Kazakhstan, he has honed his talents in the prestigious AFC competitions. Samandar expressed his enthusiasm at joining Jhapa FC and underlined his commitment to contributing to the team's quest for championship glory.

Arpan Bikram Khadka, President of Jhapa FC, expressed his optimism about fortifying the team's defensive capabilities with Samandar's arrival. The team's campaign in the Nepal Super League will commence with a match against Sporting De Ilam on November 27th. The second edition of the Nepal Super League is set to kick off on November 24th at the Dasharath Stadium in Kathmandu.
