Nepali National Women's Football Team forward Sabitra Bhandari, commonly known as Samba, currently plying her trade with Israeli club Hopoel Ranana, has reassured everyone about her safety amid her stay in Israel.

Samba recently made a triumphant return to Hopoel Ranana following her participation in the Asian Games held in Hangzhou, China.

She proved instrumental in rescuing Ranana from defeat during a recent women's league match in Israel by netting a crucial goal, resulting in a 2-2 draw against Hopoel Katamon.

Ranana was set to face Tel Aviv in their upcoming fixture scheduled for next Wednesday. However, Samba has reported that the league has been postponed for a week. She has taken refuge with the staff at the Nepalese Embassy in Tel Aviv.

In response to her fellow foreign players' desires to return to their respective countries, Samba revealed that both players and management are actively pursuing initiatives to facilitate their return.

Samba disclosed that the club's management is currently working on arrangements for her and the Indian players to return home. She expressed her readiness to head back to Nepal as soon as the opportunity arises, underscoring her historic position as the first Nepali player to compete in a European league.
