
Dudhe Football Club and MFC have secured their places in the semi-finals of the inaugural Boca Junior Cup Knockout Football Tournament, which is currently underway.
In the quarter-final clash held on Tuesday, Dudhe outplayed Phulbari Sporting Club with a score of 1-0, earning themselves a spot in the last four.
Similarly, in the subsequent quarter-final showdown, MFC emerged victorious against The Rising Youth Club in a dramatic penalty shootout, securing their berth in the semi-finals. Prior to the penalty shootout, both teams had battled to a 1-1 draw during regular time.
The tournament, organized by Boca Junior Football Club in Shivasatakshi Municipality-8, Jhiljhile, Jhapa, promises significant rewards for the victors. The tournament champion will walk away with a handsome cash prize of 25,000 along with the prestigious title, while the runner-up will be awarded 15,000. Football enthusiasts can mark their calendars for the final match scheduled to take place on October 20th.
