Lalitpur high court has issued stay order on ANFA election.
Justice Rajkumar Ban decided to issue stay order on Thursday after reviewing the writ filed by Bhaktapur and Makwanpur district.
Both districts had filed the writ against ANFA for not allowing them to participate in upcoming ANFA election. Both districts had issues in holding general assemblies.
The court has called both parties for discussion within fifteen days.
Former VP Karma Tsering Sherpa and current VP Mani Kumar are vying for the post.
AFC & FIFA won't allow government interference in country's football association.
What next? spokesperson Mishra said, "The FA first needs to solve the issues of those two districts. We must abide by the court decision. Election will be held in a new date".
Some critic believe that suspended Ganesh Thapa backed leadership opted "different" startegy to derail election process.
It is interesting to see how AFC & FIFA will react with the latest developments.
