GoalNepal Foundation donated 10 indestructible footballs, a set of jersey, 13 tracksuits and 30 lowers to Dhanusha football academy amid a program in Janakpur on Friday.
President of GoalNepal Foundation & CEO of Biba Publications, Bikram Thapa handed over the gears to the academy. 13 tracksuits and 30 lowers were provided by Japan Reale FC Fund.
Dhanusha football academy is run by Dhanusha district football association. There are 25 kids in the non-residential academy.
"Dhanusha football academy is doing its best in youth football development. We need to invest more in football in Terai region. GoalNepal feels proud to be associated with them on the auspices of its 8th anniversary", said Thapa.
DFA president Tapeshowr Raut thanked GoalNepal Foundation for the support.
"We are motivated. We are thankful to GoalNepal and GoalNepal Foundation for the support", said Raut.
General secretary Sanjit Singh said they were motivated. Coach Prakash Aryal also seemed delighted to get the support.
GoalNepal is appreciating youth football academies of Nepal. Earlier it supported Sahara football academy, Kakarvitta football training centre and Bishnupaduka football academy.
GoalNepal uses football as a tool to combat against drug abuse, leadership program, equality and awareness about gender violence.
