Birtamod United veterans have won the title of Nepal-Indo veterans football championship in Kakarvitta, Jhapa.
Birtamod veterans defeated Surunga veterans FC 3-0 in the final match played at Kakarvitta school ground on Tuesday.
Subash Limbu scored a brace while Nagendra Mani Limbu scored another for the winners.
Limbu became the man of the match and he received Rs 2100 cash.

Nagendramani Limbu became the best player of the tournament. Kumar Sapkota - with 58 yrs of age - received Rs 5100 for being the senior-most player of the tournament.
The champions received Rs 1,25,000 whereas runners up team walked away with Rs 51,000.
Province 1 Minister Jeewan Ghimire, member of legistalive assembly of province one, Shre Prashad Mainali, Jhapa district sports development committee president Shankar Thapa, Jhapa DFA president Bhagirath Ale MAMA and other guests distributed prizes to the winners.
