Birtamod Veterans have entered final of Nepal-Indo veterans championship at Kakarvitta, Jhapa.

Birtamod defeated Dhaijan Charaali veterans 2-1 to enter final on Saturday.

Subash and Nagendra Mani Limbu scored apiece for the winners. Sanjay Thapa scored one for Dhaijan. Limbu became the man of the match. He received Rs 2100 cash.

Hosts Kakarvitta veterans FC defeated Darjeeling United 3-0 to enter semifinals.

Ramesh Kumar Basnet scored a brace while former Nepal international Rakesh Shrestha scored another for the winners.

Shrestha became the man of the match and he received Rs 2100 cash.

Kakarvitta vetarns will meet Surunga in semifinal match on Sunday.

The championship has a winning purse of Rs 1,25,000.
