Panchthar: 1st Yangnam Gold Cup Kicks Off

1st Yangnam gold cup football tournament got underway at Yangnam, Panchthar on Sunday.

Falelung defeated Nepal Maga Sangh Sidin 5-0 in the opening match played at Imansingh stadium.

Prabin Jabegu scored a brace while Dipen Rai, Dinesh Sherpa and Ritik Angdembe scored apiece for the winners.

Jabegu became the player of the match. Two matches will be played on Monday. 

12 teams are taking part in the event, wich has a winning purse of NRs 1,01,101.
