Birgunj United has entered quarterfinals of Matyr Hem Narayan memoial cup football tournament in Siraha.

Birgunj United defeated Golbazar sports club 3-1 on PSO on Thursday at Siraha campus ground.

BUC GK Pramijaya Ghacchadar became the player of the match.

Sahalesh yuwa club is organizing the championship, which has a winning purse of NRs 2,51,000.
