Hosts Kakarvitta and Surunga veterans have won their respective matches in Nepal Indo veterans championship at Kakarvitta, Jhapa.

Kakarvitta veterans FC defeated Kalimpong United veterans 4-0 in the first match on Friday.

Aakash Gurung scored a hat trick while Rabindra Shrestha scored another for the winners. Gurung became the man of the match.

In the second match, Surunga veterans defeated Darjeeling Veterans 2-1.

Santosh Shrestha and Darshanraj Shrestha scored apiece for the winners. Wangdi scored one for Darjeeling. Darshan Raj Shrestha became the man of the match.

Birtamod Veterans FC will play against Dhaijan Chaarali veterans on Friday.

Kakarvitta veterans FC is organizing the championship, which has a winning purse of Rs 1,25,000.
