Birtamod veterans and Dhaijan-Charaali veterans have entered semifinals of Nepal Indo veterans championship in Jhapa.

Birtamod defeated Rhinos Doars veterans FC 5-1 on Thursday.

Nagendra Mani Limbu and Deuman Limbu scored brace each while Ganesh Kumar Subba scored another for the winners. Bipul scored for the losing side. Nagendra Mani became the man of the match.

In the second match, Dhaijan Chaarli defeated Eastern veterans FC 2-1 to enter last four. Tirtha Yashok became the man of the match.

Hosts Kakarvitta veterans FC will meet Kalimpong United veterans and Darjeeling Town will play against Surunga veterans on Friday.

The championship has a winning purse of Rs 1,25,000.
