All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has sold Marketing, Broadcasting and Digital and Ticketing rights of the Martyr's Memorial A, B and C Division Leagues to MDAC Sports Pvt. Ltd.

The FA signed an agreement with MDAC at ANFA complex on Monday.

ANFA General Secretary Kiran Rai and MDAC's CEO Arjun Ghimire signed in the agreement.

As per the agreement, MDAC will provide NRs 19.7 million to ANFA and will become the sole holder of the rights of the leagues, the FA said.

MDAC will broadcast the matches live in Space 4K Television and its online platforms, the FA added.

"We invited for bids fixing a minimum rate that was determined by our Ex-Co meeting. But after no bids was received, we decided to scrape the minimum rate and instead go for the highest bidder," said ANFA general secretary Rai.

MDAC's CEO Ghimire said they wanted to make the upcoming league a successful one. "As a keen football fan, we wanted to contribute towards the sports sector of the country and wish to start with the leagues," said Ghimire via ANFA.

The Martyr's Memorial 'A' Division League 2023 begins from March 3. The league will be played in double round robin format and matches will be played at Dasharath Stadium, Chyasal Stadium and ANFA Complex.
