Bhadrapur Jhapa Gold Cup Kicks Off

Bhadrapur Jhapa gold cup got underway at Mechi stadium Bhadrapur on Sunday.

Bhadrapur Blazers defeated Jaygaaun FC, WB, India 2-0 in the opening match.

Stephane Samir (55') and Messouke (80') scored apiece for the winners.

Messouke became the player of the match and received NRs 20,000 cash. Blazers will now play against Sankata in quarterfinal match on Tuesday.

Nepal Police Club will play against Church Boys United on Monday.

The championship has a winning purse of NRs 13 lakh. Runners up team will get NRs 7 lakh. The MVP will get NRs 1 lakh.
