Sunsari: Damak Football Academy Wins Title Of 2nd Sonapur Gold Cup

Damak football academy has lifted the title of 2nd Sonapur gold cup football tournament in Sunsari district.

Damak football academy defeated Itahari FC Sunsari 1-0 in the final match played on Saturday.

Prabesh Danuwar scored the match winning goal in 51st minute.

The champions received NRs 2 lakh while runners up team got NRs 1 lakh.

Ramesh Rajbanshi became the man of the final match. Aashish Lawati was adjudged the best player of the tournament.

Bhuwan Basnet became the highest goal scorer.

Chief guest province 1 minister Jiwan Acharya distributed prizes to the winners.
