Ward number 1 defeated ward number 6 1-0 in the opening match.

Samar Dhami scored the match winning goal and became the player of the match.

Mayor Dinesh Adhikari and other officials were present in the opening ceremony.

The championship has a winning purse of NRs 1,01,000 and runners up team will get NRs 51,000.
