Kiran Chemjong's RoundGlass Punjab FC have slipped down to the second position in the I-League table. Punjab slipped down thanks to a 4-0 loss against Sreenidi Deccan on Tuesday.

Sreenidi Deccan have climbed back to the top of the table after this win. After this win, Punjab have scored 23 points from 11 games, two points behind Srinidhi Deccan at second place. Deccan are at the top on 25 points having played one game more.

Punjab will take on Mohammedan SC on Sunday. With top two in a close battle, it looks like this season will be a tight affair at the top to decide the winners.

The winners of this season of the I-League will get promoted to next season's Indian Super League.
