Pokhara (GoalNepal) - Sankata Club's Sunil Bal has been named the player of the tournament of the Aaha! Rara Pokhara Gold Cup concluded today. Sunil, who scored the decisive goal in the final, received a Tail G electric scooter.

Sankata Club defeated Bhutanese Youth Sports Club 3-2 in the final to win the title at the Pokhara Gold Cup.

Messouke Oloumou of Sankata finished the tournament as the highest scorer with four goals. Similarly, Tikendra Singh Thapa, Aayush Ghalan and Stephane Binong of the winners were named the best goalkeeper, best defender and the best striker respectively. Salyan Khadgi was named the best coach. 

BYSC's Hector Ortega was named the best defender of the tournament.

Sankata Club received 12 lakh rupees as the winners while BYSC received six lakh rupees.
